Flyfishing Experiences at the Ranch
The ranch is the perfect place to spend a few days immersed in the craft of fly fishing. The Upper Trinity River runs right through the middle of the ranch's 120 acres, affording Bob's clients a long stretch of private water on which to hone skills ranging from assessing a river's "bug" population, to casting and trout fishing strategies.

For those just being introduced to the sport, or learning a new type of casting, the ranch's private casting pond provides an ideal site for instruction and practice. Bob's fishing shed is an excellent spot for teaching the art of tying flies, and other equipment-related material.

The ranch is conveniently located to some of the best flyfishing water in Northern California, including the Lower Trinity River and the Upper and Lower Sacramento River.

Bass Fishing Experiences at the Ranch
Just 15 minutes from Eagle Creek Ranch lies one of the best mountain bass fishing lakes in the West. Boasting a healthy population of both smallmouth and largemouth, and having yielded the California state record smallmouth, Trinity Lake is both a tremendous fishery, and a wonderful outdoor experience. Bob has over 25 years of fishing experience on the lake. Lake Shasta and Whiskeytown are also within a reasonable drive of the ranch making it an excellent base from which to enjoy a bass fishing vacation in paradise.
